Dr. Kernen is a partner and the Director of Research at Michigan Institute of Urology. He has worked in the metro Detroit area since 2000. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University in 1989, and his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Wayne State University School of Medicine in 1993. He then served his urology residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, and a Urologic Oncology Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine.
