CELEBRATING ENHANCED UROLOGY TREATMENTS
As the year inches to a close, we can’t help but look back – and forward – with gratitude.
We’re celebrating:
- The growth of REDEEM, our specialty sexual wellness and aesthetics clinic in Birmingham, and our Interventional Radiology Center in Troy that uses advanced imaging techniques as an alternative to open surgery.
- Our new website with a robust library of educational videos, webinars, and access to our clinical trials.
You can look forward to:
- More treatment options for prostate cancer at our modern Ambulatory Surgery Centers in Troy and coming soon in Utica.
- Consistent pricing and payment options at our In-Office Medication Dispensary.
- Information about your genetic cancer risk with Precision GU genetic testing.
We’re grateful and humbled by your trust in us. It boosts our determination to provide the best possible treatment options for your urology condition.

AMBULATORY SURGERY CENTERS OFFER ALTERNATIVE TO HOSPITAL
MIU’s Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC) are a great option when your treatment or procedure does not require an overnight stay. Our ASCs are so popular with our patients that in addition to our center in Troy, a second center will open soon in Utica. They’re a welcome alternative to hospitals because they provide:
- More convenient parking and building access.
- High-quality care at a lower cost, depending on your insurance.
- Staff who specialize in urology procedures and take the time to focus on patients and families.
- Predictable scheduling and less stress.
If you need a procedure or treatment, ask your urologist if one of our ASCs is right for you.
BREAKTHROUGH TREATMENT FOR INCONTINENCE RESTORES CONFIDENCE
Strong pelvic floor muscles can prevent urine leakage. When these muscles are weak, they may not fully support your bladder and other organs, making it harder to control urination. The EMSELLA® Chair is a breakthrough treatment that can strengthen these muscles in men and women.
As you sit on the EMSELLA Chair, fully clothed, electromagnetic technology stimulates your pelvic muscles. It’s like performing 11,200 Kegels in just 30 minutes. The result is restored muscle control, relief from incontinence, and enhanced sexual function.
Schedule a consultation to find out if the EMSELLA Chair is right for you.
